Soul Work Isn't an Aesthetic

To the internet "Soul Work" is an aesthetic. It's yoga, it's incense and ASMR tarot readings, lofi beats and journaling with your $250 Ohuhu Markers haul.
But for those of us actually doing it, the term invokes fear. I swear, every time my spirit guide mentions soul work my stomach drops. True spiritual healing isn't a deep breath and a quick pilates class—it's more like a recurring nightmare where you realize you have to face the same shadow again and again until you finally break your habits and start a new way of life.
While real soul work is difficult, exhausting, and sometimes lonely - it’s the only way to make a real breakthrough. Riffing through the messy parts of our soul to understand what makes us tick is exactly what creates the space for life changing progress.
Anyway, enough rambling...let's get to work.
